For this project, we wanted clothes to circulate responsibly and effectively through their entire life, at their highest utility and value, and in the end, after many years, return safely into nature.
In order to achieve circularity, we believe it is vital to care for clothes from the day they are born, until their last day of use. Therefore, we created a life cycle that traces the garment's life from fiber to disposal. Follow the journey of your SOLVE clothes and be part of the amazing result*
*in order to extend the life of your garment and dispose of it in the right way please see the care section.
Sourced and produced within Europe in order to decrease CO2 emissions produced by transportation.
OMDANNE begins from eucalyptus trees from certified sustainably-managed forests. The fiber, then, is produced in a closed-loop system recovering almost 100% of the organic solvent used in the process. Afterwards, the fabric is made in a certified sustainable manufacturing process with no harmful chemicals used and responsible management of environmental performances. The garments are manufactured with love in a small family-owned production facility in Romania and then the focus lies on e-commerce to sell the products, a practice that uses considerably less energy than traditional retail. The last two phases: use and disposal are carefully guided so that, in the end, after many years, the garments become nutrients to the soil.
